...You get out to the National Wildlife Refuge just before sunrise and spot a perfect shot of Mt. Jefferson and you press the button and get ERR 01. (3 times in a row).
I finally remembered that it was probably due to the lens not being seated correctly. Hurray, I was right! Just when I get ready to set the shot again, the sun pops over the mountain and I'm blinded by the rising sun! RATS!
Oh well, off to the birds, which is what I came for anyway. Where are my base plates for the tripod and monopod? Sitting on my desk at home! Did I mention that it's 19 degrees and I'm already freezing??? It turns out that the Slough was completely frozen and the birds were elsewhere on this frigid valley morning.
Anyway, I did manage this one. As you can tell, I'm a newbie, but am always trying to learn. Please give me any feedback you may have. Thanks.
