I think number 2 is my favourite but all 3 are great, real sense of speed in the first shot... nice work.

looks great.. in the first pic, my first reaction was, "when he hits that light with his arse, he's gonna be hurting for a long time" but then realized it was behind him...lol
good job on all three!

great shots =) they are building a big 3 million dollar skate park here in winnipeg that is supposed to open this summer so i'm getting excited to go do some shooting there.
of the three i like number 3 the most.

What flash/camera set up are you using? The blur in #1 looks like the flash was too strong. #2 looks really good...could you have gotten any lower?
I've been wanting to shoot skating but just moved to SD and don't know any skaters around here.

I like #2 the best. I love gaps.
#1 would've been a lot better if all action was frozen, imo. what camera/lens??

Thanks for all the complements. All of these are shot with a rebel xt and a Tamaron 11-18mm. The First one is when I first got my 580EX and the other 2 are with a 420EX.

first has a little to much open space for me, and im not realy crazed about the strong fill-flash in the last, maybe tone it down a tad. Besides that though, awesome shots

I actually like #3 best - the fill flash causes the subject to pop out of the picture. Nice work!

Awesome pics really shows how the power of the external flash as a fill, makes the subject pop

Great shots, especially #3. The flash in #3 is perfect, making the skater pop.
