I decided to go shop around for new glass this weekend. Currently, I have nothing longer than 70 mm and a 2x converter and not happy with it.
So, whe looking around I found the Canon EF 75-300/4.0-5.6 II IS USM as the thing is called in the local shops. When checking on the Internet though, I seem unable to find anything on this particular lense in reviews and/or on the Canon sites. I did, however, find material on the EF 75-300/4.0-5.6 IS USM (so, no mark II!).
Are those the same lenses? Or are they really different? Anyone around that has any experience with either one?
Based on the reviews of the plain USM IS, I'm leaning towards saving up a little extra and go for the 70-200/4.0 L USM (no image stabilizing - more work for the tripod me thinks). Comments anyone?
