the Canon USA site won't even load for me... the Canadian site still works, and there is nothing new...

usa site loded for me a few minutes ago, albeit slowly. now it doesnt seem to me working at all.

For the sake of the mood on this forum, there had better be something... I'm new here, but really amused by the level of anticipation - has everyone just been given $1500 worth of vouchers for whatever the main USA photo shop is or something? Ha ha!:lol:

with all the excitment all they're going to end up releasing is a consumer scanner or printer probably... and this will cause me to die a little on the inside.

It's a specialized version of the 20D, altered for use in astrophotography. It has a revised infrared filter design and other changes that make it more suitable for capturing the near-invisible infrared light from deep space objects such as gas clouds and nova.

Guys - it's only the 21st... PMA doesn't start until the 26th... you may be hitting refresh for a while.

There is a new Canon EOS 30D. Is official. I am not impressed. Not much improvement over the 20D.
