It is clear now -- as you recently pointed out -- that you have entered your "soft" period. This is nicely soft.

The flower itself is quite an amazing as a species-- but my botany knowledge tanks are running on empty -- so I will end here.

I like this as well...the tips of the stamens are sharp and the rest is soft focus without losing detail. The colour and contrast are excellent. Very well done, slejhamer.

I do think there could be a more interesting composition. Hopefully these flowers will still be in good condition this weekend so I can shoot some more. They are going to be past their peak fairly soon.
