Heres another image from a wedding last weekend. Tim if you view this one, you'll know how I achieved the look!

I rikey :) The only suggestion I have is to try to bring out the grooms suit a little, it blends into the background in many places. I find a rim light fantastic for that, if you have time, which I rarely do at a wedding.

On the original Tim you can see it quite clearly but using the effect we have discussed this is what it comes out like, i love it. Im posting another one in a few minutes just sorting it now.

This is one of my trade mark piccies although we were struggling to get a good sky on this one. I prefer if possible to get the couple on higher ground to silhouette them more, but you have to work with what you've got. LOL
Carl... hope you like it.

Very nice :) Could you use a remote flash illuminating just the B&G? A wireless speedlite would do it, you might be able to put the flash behind them so you still get a sillouete, though that could be tricky.

When we took this one, although it doesn't look like it it was pouring down with rain and had been doing nearly all day. The bride and groom ran out of some doors to the right, posed and ran back in again. I had a brolly held over me and my camera by my dear wife but we didn't have time to set it up with the remote flash. The bride likes it and it's sold so i'm quite pleased with it, although there is room for improvement i know. I could work on it in photoshop but it's now 1.50am and i'm going to bed... goodnight.

It's a great pic, especially given the circumstances! :)

Carl, love them both!!! So what's this technique you and Tim seem to keep as a secret? :D
I really need to come to UK and play with you.... love to shoot at one of those lovely castles. I bet it's a challenge with the lights, but man, I love those old buildings. I think I was living in England or Scotland in on of my previous lives.
