Hot/Dead Pixel Test [Archive] - Canon Digital Photography Forums

Hi,

I just bought my G2 and still studying the user's manual. I paid S$729 for my G2 (I'm in Singapore).

I have been reading a lot about the hot/dead pixel test, can anyone please explain to me how to do this.

I am relatively new to digital photography but this link may help -

I ran the test and my G2 seemed to pass ok.

Maybe some other regulars can comment if this particular test is of any use ?

Would you please tell me where did you purchase the G2 camera? The price is very low.
