We are a global community, and many of us are visiting new places. Unlike in the historical time of celatine film, we are now dependent of the purity of our cmos (censor).

Let's collect the facts for cmos cleaning is different Canon service. I can start.

Cmos cleaning for 20D in Canon Thailand, Bangkok (http://www.canon.co.th/index.php?action=dealer&lang=en&province_id=1) service center took one hour (30 min waiting, 30 min actual work), cost 321 bath (8 USD/7 EUR) - this I call a good service with the right cost.

In Helsinki JAS-tekniikka http://www.jastekniikka.fi took 35 Euros for cleaning 1D Mark II sensor and did it in 30 minutes.

PS. I changed the subject to something more catchy. :)
