LED and Photoshop

Someone gave me an interesting Idea. Said they kinda look like the balls from the movie, The Rock.

The LED's are great. Do you mind sharing how you did this? The same style (brightness increasing from left to right) on the balls might be interesting.

Well, they are all the same LED. I just took a bunch of of exposures of an LED at 100 ISO with an apature of 36. with each shot I lengthened the exposure time. From 5 seconds to about 5 minutes.

I then used photoshop copied one right next to the other, once I got to the ones with glare I painted in a layer mask to touch up around them.
