I'm still new to posting on the Web. What do you think of this image?

Since the sky is the weakest area, I would crop it out. One of three places should work. Either just below the tree line, or just above or below the red tree.

I have problems with the sky colours as well but scrolling back and forth I would agree cutting the picture off just above the red tree works. I wouldn't have thought of that crop myself but it does work.
Never commented on anyones picture before, good shot, apart fromt he sky colouring.

Yes, I had a problem with the sky also. I do not know how to to fix specific areas like this one. I tried a couple of different approaches, but they all ended up looking very choppy. When I printed it, I cropped out the sky as you sugjested but I guess I need some advice on how to handle this type of correction.

The foreground and middle ground are just great, but the sky needs burning in - it's a little too washed out. PSCS Image->Adjustments->Shadows/Highlights tool would take care of that, easily.
Good composition and good foreground, middleground interest.
Congratulations!

It also needs to be rotated 1 degree to the right to level the pond. Nice shot btw. :)

I dont think cropping is the answer in view of the tall tree
You have everything
Reflection
front aspect
back light
focus
wandering river
I am not into landscape but it lacks something for me ?
But since I dont really know what ? possibly a shot of two halves....
Great shot
Tell me to shut up

If you have it available, try playing around with some curves adjustments- maybe an "S" curve would work here. This in addition to what Bob has offered in his advice would make this image a keeper.

If I had the RAW file, I could play with it in PS, but overall, this is a shot that could have really benifited from using a GND filter on the camera at the time you took the shot. In jpg format, the sky is way over exposed, so it is just too tough to get any detail back in PS.
Shot does need to be rotated 1 degree CW to keep the pond from spilling out the left side.
