Hi,
all things being well I shall be off to the rally tommorow. Does anybody have some tips for good places to shoot from? I have been twice before but not found any jumps or tight corners.
I am attending Somerly but not sure which other stages to go to. If you'd rather not publish as it may cause a tog-jam then how about a PM?
If I am out of order asking this I will dump the thread asap.
I can try!
Thanks

You may be a little too late with this one. Many of our regular rally photographers are of the Northern persuasion and will already be en-route to Bournemouth for this evening's stages.

Rats,
forgot about tonights session, I had consigned it to the back of my mind as I have other commitments tonight (unfortunatly :( ). Perhaps when the pics go up I can do some gentle inquiring for next year!!
Thanks

I will be there from tomorrow morning.
I have been studying the programme/a map and am planning my stages. I went for the forest parking ticket.
If you want to meet somewhere for a bit/chat, send me a PM and we can exchange numbers.

sure does......
and it specificall shows you which corners have spectator areas.
I couldn't find any one the website when I last looked.
I have photocopied the pages and scribbled a timetable on them etc.

If I get time when I'm home tonight after about 1900, I will try and scan something in for you.
I will be starting at Carpark C around 10:00. ready to pick up stage 6 at 10:47
The maps don't really cover anything to the west i.e stages 3/4/5/10/11 so I have no idea where they are going to be.
(I've just seen car park D on the sunseeker website, but as I'm coming from London I'll aim for Carpark C to start.)

Ok I've put all the major places into autoroute and added the .axe file zipped up.
Here's a jpg of the carparks, spectator areas and major sites as well.
