C'mon, all you people here who use an ND filter, I wanna see your pics.

Only pics shot with an ND filter and a description (quick one) of filter and how it was used.
Thanks!

I don't think you'd be able to see the difference, really. All an ND filter does is slow down the shutter speed.

Or did you mean Graduated ND filter?

lol... yeah graduated... an nd filter doesnt actually slow down your shutter speed, it will let you use a slower speed. i know you know ths scottes, im just clearing this up for beginners.
I just bought the sing ray 3 stop grad nd and wanna see some examples of uses. There was a shot posted here recently but i cant find it.. a beack with a house on a cliff i believe and the poster drew up a diagram on how he used the filter... any ideas who it was?
thanks scottes.

I am in need of a split ND filter so I have no photos to offer, but if you search on the name Tim Fitzharris (Very well known Landscape & Nature photographer / author) I am sure you will find great examples of the use of a split ND filter. He swears by them.

Hi I think the photo's you are talking about were from Montytian ( Ithink this is the correct spelling) he was using the Cokin filters??

He has not posted for some time, however if you look him up on members there are links to a web site.

Here's one that is kind of interesting taken about a year ago....

Stacked 2 and 3 stop soft-edge Singh-Ray (http://www.singh-ray.com/grndgrads.html) ND filters slightly off set for 5 stops of pull-back. Slight post-processing in PS with no masking.
