I often see a picture and instantly know the make of the camera it has been taken with.

My most recent example is Jack Guy's (http://www.jackguy.com/) image of Pierce Brosnan:

For me this image instantly shouts 'Hasselblad'!

I also think Canons 5d and 1ds mkII have their own idiosyncrasies, so too does Nikon's D100.

Does anybody else get this, and if so, do you have any examples of images which you contect to a camera?

you could be right...Blad or Pentax 6x7.....but I always think in terms of photographers...not cameras...interesting way to look at things tho....don

Yes, I too think in terms of photographers (for example a Nachtwey image can often be spotted a mile off), but I was wondering if people saw it with cameras as well :)

Guess not... ;) :p :)
