Flower Close up.

I finally got a 350D and took some snaps of this lovely looking flower. Let me know what you all think. I put the "Turner Photography" up to just for fun ;)

No comments. That's alright! But does anyone know what type of flower it is!?

Looks like old fashion rose. The depth of field is a little shallow for a close up. The pistil and anthers are rather soft. I like the composition.

I didn't really get close enough to begin with, hence the anthers are soft - i need a macro, something better than my 18-55mm!

It is a Portulaca (cultivated Purlsane). Really brings a feel of summer.
