I've already posted this in a different topic as a smaller version. I thought you guys might like to see a larger one.

Very interesting, great exposure and color. Would be nice even bigger and with a bit more narrative ... what's it about? Also, it is always nice to have several images to kinda' flesh out the band/performer/venue for a full body experience (I know I mentioned in the other thread, sigh.) I'd also consider trimming back the frame/title just a tad ... it is very classy and appropriate in style but just manages to pull the eye.

Whoa... I like this photo even more than the other one. Great capture!

Would have been nice to see the full circle made by the glow sticks. Other than that the shot is bang on :)

I thought the same thing about this shot as soon as I saw it, but the response I've gotten out of it by the partygoers has been huge. Whenever I shot it, I had just arrived and saw this girl, who is a friend of mine from out of town. I had just pulled my camera out (I'm actually kneeling behind the DJ booth over my camera bag) and she said "Hey! Take a picture of me!" Therefore, I didn't get much of a chance to really compose the shot. I just held up the camera, pointed the flash to a wall to my left and fired. I was also sorta pinned up against the wall, so I couldn't really back up.

Ya I completely understand. There are times when you just turn around, see something and shoot. Then later you kick yourself for not doing it another way. One of the things I love about club photography is how spontaneous the shots are. Technically our shots may never be perfect, but if you capture the action, mood and energy of what you're shooting you've nailed the shot every time in my books :)
