I do not know the monument, but your image is very clean, and there is a soft but solid beauty to the your capture of the lighting. Perfect nightime exposure. So too, the perspective that you have chosen gives some idea of the upward sweep and simplicity of this structure.

But, on another dimension, it seems to me that the monument "national importance" does not come across. That may be because we have no sense of scale here. However, there may be little more that you can do from this vantage point.

On close, I feell that I have viewed a piece of modern art.
