I am going to exhibit up to 10 of my photos in an art show taking place next month (my first time exhibiting), and it is difficult for me to select which ones would be best since I am so close and familiar to them.
I know this is asking a lot, but if anyone would be willing to take a quick look at my photos at www.pbase.com/peterm1 and tell me if any of the photos strike them as especially "show worthy" or interesting, I would be eternally grateful. I think the Miscellaneous and Cape Cod galleries have the most potential shots.
Thanks so much!

Very hard to decide,. a strong selection of excellent work to choose from :D
Here are a few that stood out for me
"Aspen back alley doorway"
"compo beach 3"
"Cape Cod 2003-05"
OR
"Cape Cod 2003-11" (but not both,.. i like "05" a little better)
"img 3684"
and "Florida Sunset" is a great sunset... :D
I like all of the "Snowmass" photos,. but I wonder,. where is the gallery display?
I would alter my picks based on the location of the gallery I think? Not sure you want the mountains in a Cape Cod gallery and if the gallery is in Aspen,. the florida Sunset might be odd?
Then of course maybe I have it all backwards! :)
Anyway those were the images that stuck out for me.
Good luck with your show!

Thanks everyone - this is really helpful!
It is an exhibit in my office building in Stamford, CT (no big deal, but it's the first time I am publicly exhibiting my photos).
Now I have to buy some more frames!

What type of matting and framing are you going to use for your exhibit?

I don't know - I am a real newbie! I want to show about 15 photos and don't want to break the bank. I was thinking of getting basic black and white frames at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Any suggestions?

I think devils den 3 is your best shot..

Peterm1,
Bed bath and beyond is exactly the second place I go to look for frames... :)
It is the first place I go when I want GOOD frames,. but the first place I go when I want frames (as in save even more money, is Ocean State Joblot... In fact I bought a mess of frames today.
Do they have anything like that in Conecticut?
