Love birds? Maybe, they sure make a nice couple. I don't know what type of birds they are, but I could not resist making these captures! Comments welcomed.

very cute! They're cockatiels actually, if you want an id. The one on the right is definitely a female, and by the yellow on the left ones face I'd say that's the male... but I'm not certain he's a male?

the second one to me looks a lot better. the colors are warmer there is more contrast and it is sharper. im not sure why there is such a difference between the two? Both have great compositions though.

These were captured in a place called "The Shell Factory" in North Fort Myers Florida. It is an enclosed area where the birds fly around and land on trees etc....

Very neat.. Ok keith looks like we will be back in the area around the 4th of July week.... Plan some places for me...LOL

I agree that the second one looks better. Detailand light as well as the pose ( partial closing of the eyes) adds character. Nice capture.

The sun was in and out from behind the clouds during the time I was there. I would actually see the lighting change while looking through the view finder composing the shots. There several variations due to the lighting. Yes this makes them more noticible when they are side by side. I like the 2nd also.

After speaking with you on Friday, I bet we would have had a blast shooting around here! There are real hidden gems here that I found just by accident...I'll mark July down on the calendar. By then the HEAT!! will be on....:) :)
