They're actually a group of extinct volcanoes, just north of Brisbane.

Can hardly see the mountains (glass?), but the valley makes a beautiful scene.

I agree with Stan, and perhaps the choice of thread title could have been better. ;) As a valley panorama it looks nice though. Do you have any closer shots of the Glasshouse Mountains?

Personally i would include more of that tree in the frame,it would make a big difference for the forground.

I only had my 17-40 f/4L with me to do this panorama and it was too wide to get the mountains. I'll be climbing one of them tomorrow to get another panorama and will take a longer lens too.

None that I was particularly happy with:cry: Here's the best that I shot with a 70-200 f/2.8.

The tree to the right? Or the stump in the very corner? If you mean the tree, to the right...I agree AND I shot another "row" of images including more of the tree, but found Panorama Factory can't stitch vertical images (i.e.mosaics)

Thanks for that.

Hehe! It's the middle of Summer Down Under!:D We just had a lot of rain in this district.

The mountains are at least visible now without a microscope! ;) That's an interesting use of the fence for framing. :)

Aahh, right, but why can it not? the tree would be in the last picture,it wouldn`t have to be stitched...

Ahhh. You mean more width not height. Hmm. You're right (of course:D). Might have to go back and reshoot! As to why Panorama Factory can't stitch vertical images...I don't know! I might have to get another stitching program that CAN do mosaics.
