Canon have finally sent me the cashback voucher for another lens as my reward for buying the 100-400 LIS. :D

Much as I'd love the 70-200 LIS, the budget won't run that far, so I was thinking that the 135 f/2 L could be a nice way to use my discount at a more moderate cost.

I thought this lens would fit nicely between the 100-400 and my next lens down - a Sigma 28-70 - especially with the wide max aperture.

Do y'all think this is a good choice?

Cheers,

Roger

Roger -

The EF 135 f/2 is a lens I've coveted for some time. I could really use it in my stage photography of opera performances, but I don't think I'd get enough additional use from it to justify the purchase. The 70-200L is my main lens for opera, but I need to use a couple of bodies and the 135mm focal length could be very useful.

I've heard that this lens is a strong performer and the f/2 aperture appeals to me greatly!
