Found several of these today, nesting in tall grass. Some decided to sit still, but the wind was another matter.

Thank you, yes the wind was something else today, making most shots difficult. At least, that is my story and I`m sticking to it.

I like the way how you enhance the bettle with the background. Most of the critters that I have seen myself are beautiful but the background do not emplify them.

Thus, this is a new goal...to understand how to rationalise the background together with the subject to create a beautiful overall image.

Thank you for those kind words.Yesterday was fun. It was cool and windy, a perfect day off and great to be outdoors with my favorite eagles our canon`s, but now:( it is off to the salt mines for me.
