Here's some more photos of Mz Ann Thropik, a band I've previously posted images of to PotN here (http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=119108).

Again with the attrocious lighting. I've been spoiled by the opportunity to shoot some stadium and larger touring band shows so the results from the smaller and poorly lit venues are so much less inspiring for me.

Anyway heres some photos all shot with my 20D and 50mm f/1.8 or Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 @ either ISO 1600 or 3200.,

Well I reckon' they're great Angus, the lighting may suck but the atmosphere really heaves, well done. I particularly like #2 & #4.....but then that shot of the Gresch is cool.....the comp' in the last shot grabs me too. Like I said they're great!

Well, I love Mz Ann, but I'm not enthralled with that nipple pierced dude! :-) Bad light sucks, but you know, getting this kind of intimacy where you can smell the performers (Mz Ann, not the nipple dude) is very appealing to me since I rarely get a chance for this genre.

Nice job Angus - the lighting @ 77 is a bitch - was considering going to that one myself but after shooting 14 bands in 8 nights I decided to give it a miss.
