zoobrowser problem

Can anyone help.
I having successfully downloaded a flash card through the camera (S40) I now find that all information on the zoombrowser window is blank ie files etc gone, with the message 'you cannot open more than one data base at a time. Close the data base before opening another one'
Followed by 'Please open or create another data base which is accessed via the data base menu'

No matter what steps I take I cannot get past this step.
How do I close this data base.

Many thanks for the assistance.
I did try an un-install/re-install but was met with the same message followed by 'catastrophic failure'
However, I will try the option you have given this evening.
