i don't really shoot macro too much, but i do have this picture that i took that i am very proud of. i'd be impressed if some one would guess what it is, but at the same time wouldn't be that shocked cause i've seen some pretty crazy stuff in this section.

P.S. only thing i've done it CS2 is crop, and adjust the colors a little bit.

I agree with John, it is stunning, it looks alot like an oil or gel like substance on a mirror?..or oil on water in a colored dish? uh...maybe?...lol

^^^^tracy that's pretty good, you got it all right, excpet for the part of it being on a plate.

I'll give you a hint...pay attention to some of the smaller "bubbles" and see what you come up with.

Water boiling in a glass bottomed saucepan on a sixty's psycadelic reteo type gas cooker,???? havn't a clue really but it's a wonderfully coloured shot.:cool:

hahahahahahah sharpy good try, atleast your focusing on the right thing "crown", to try and figure out what's on the bottom.

As stated before is it water with oil, but it's the color that makes it soo interesting in my opinion.

And no it's not a rolex, but if they made rolexes in those colors i would be forced to buy myself one of them:D

Come on edel, you'll have to give more clues. All I can come up with taking into account where you are is - chips in a roulette wheel.:( :( :(

Sharpy you're good...that's some of my poker chips sitting at the bottom of a cooking pan with water filling up most of it, and then some oil on the top layer.

wow...i really expected people not to figure it out, to think it tall all of like 15 minutes

thanks tracy, it kind of evolved into the finish product. I started off by trying to get pictures of water droplets, and it slowly moved it's way to the finish product that you see above. All it took was a little imagination, that's all it usually takes.

I love this shot. The mystery is good, but the shot is a fine abstract as is. Really nice work.
