We went to a Mardis Gras celebration on Saturday and of course the band played at high noon... but I took these photos anyways.

Great Shots!! Was Mardi Gras on Bourbon Street like always? Didn't know since the Hurricanes and the Devistaion down there. I've aleays wanted to go to Mardi Gras. Went to New Orleans few months before though. great place!

I don't see an issue with shooting these types of shots at noon. That's when they happened, so that's what they look like. Nice job with these!

You lucky girl. I haven't had the pleasure to get down there for Mardis Gras yet, but I hope to one day. There must have been an incredible orgy of photo opportunities for you down there. (Pun intended).

Great job shooting under difficult lighting circumstances Maureen. They look great! :D

For those who think I was in New Orleans... I was only in little old Visalia, California.

It was still lots of fun and thanks for the nice comments.

Great captures Maureen. The second shot was the giveaway.
High-noon, low-noon, just shoot...shoot...shoot.

I can understand your confusion. He is an extremely attractive fellow. A little underweight, but the moustache is top notch. Two things that give this away as a fraud, however.

1. I play woodwinds, not brass.
2. His watch is fast.
