I require a spare battery for my D60. Where can I get a cheap new battery in the UK? Is there an alternative manufacturer who makes the same battery, probably for a lot less money? Can you tell I'm a week away from my payday, and that it's been a 5 week month?

Ive tried the cheaper one, do you not find they start to flag a lot quicker on average i find the Canon lasts 4x as long! Just a thought.

I have a couple of the 7Dayshop batteries for my 10D and they seem to last as well as the Canon ones. Service from 7Dayshop is excellent.

7dayshop went through a patch of poor customer service but seem to have improved. Delivery times vary a lot though - anything from 7 days to several weeks.

As I said the batteries last longer than Canon ones.

I had a bad experience with 7dayshop back in Feb 2003. My order never arrived and when I phoned to complain they made me out to be a liar. It took about 8 weeks to get the stuff and I had to write a strong letter to Digital Photo magazine to get the matter resolved.

I have, so far so good, not had any problems with 7Dayshop. Delivery seems to be around 5-7 days at the moment and if you order on the internet you can track your order - at least up to them dispatching it.
Several colleagues of mine also use them and have not had problems either (fingers crossed).
At their prices they are well worth a try, and £0-95 P&P as well.
