Video clip - remove text?

Hi.

I've crawled the net, looked up the manual and now i'm just about to jump up & down in anger:

A small film shot by my G3. Viewed in Premiere, Quick Time and Winamp. All shows the movie with a grey text at top and buttom (PICVidio & www.jpg.com).

Maybe it's a very dumb question, but how do i remove that text?

The problem is your video codec. Go to the Control Panel, and in "Add/Remove programs" choose the "Picvideo codec" or some similar and remove it.

Ah, brilliant! It works (but now - after uninstalling that program you've mentioned, Premiere won't accept any of my .AVI files). Hm. Suggestions?
