Last week, I took advantage of the great California winter weather (high 60's) and visited Chinatown. Did the whole tourist thing and stopped by Pier 39 too. :D

Brought the 20D and the Sigma 24-70 along and took some pics. Brought the Tokina 12-24 too but didn't use it.

Double as curtains and drier at the same time. Great idea :)

Thanks for the compliments. I wished I stayed a little longer to take some shots of the bridge with nightsky but it was pretty cold and we were hungry. :D

I like the lanterns one best, although their angle looks like they're being blown by a strong wind. ;)

Thanks John, these streets are facing the bay so the wind can whirl up as in the tunnel. These lanterns were hung with just a tiny string so they got blown around quite a bit :)

I didn't realise that was the true cause - I had assumed that they looked that way because of the angle you took the shot at! :lol:
