Importing G3 pics

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

When importing images with photoshop

file>> import >>WIA G3

Once imported the resolution is 300.


Now, i recently posted some photos of mine in another section. I used the EX browser to import them, and opened them up in photoshop. the resolution is at 72.

I just noticed it because my pictures seemed a little out of focus or blurry when i compared them.

Has anyone seen this problem??

I have a similar question. I have been using ZoomBrowser to download pictures from the camera. The resolution was 72 when I opened pictures in Photoshop 5. In Photoshop 7 same pictures have resultion 180.

So, I guess it's a photoshop issue and it has nothing to do with pixel size of images (it's always 2272x1704). i would really appreciate if someone could explain it.

Iam using Photoshop 6 and i get a resolution of 300, but i do not use zoom brower to open it up. I just import directly.

I do get the 72dpi when i use zoom browser.

At my work I get a resolution of 180 also. Interesting...........


With so many other users on this forum, its funny how no one else has encountered this problem.
