Hi all.

I just ordered my G3, 58mm lens adapter, CrystalVue LX8 and 256 MB flash card (yikes the dollars add up fast...). I am SUPER-excited about it, and also going to be broke about halfway through the next university term because of this.... hehe, oops. Maybe I'll be able to sell some photos... ;)

I was just looking at the aperture range of the G3... and it looks like the range is from F/2 to F/3 on Canon's site. I'm pretty new to this, but that seems like a pretty small range, not allowing much for a higher DOF (like F/8). Is the G3 limited to F2-F3, or am I mistaken? Has this been an issue for anyone else, or is it not a problem for most pictures?

Thanks for responses!
Stu.

The G3 has a range of F2 to F8.
When specs are shown, often they indicate the minimum F-Stop for the camera.
They show F2/F3 because the minimum for the G3 is F2 and full wide, and F3 and full zoom
