nice ones Mast3rChi3f...

really like the first...it's going to be a shame when your shots aren't here once you go FF...

have you thought about using a 10-20mm with a 1.4X TC like tupper to still use this lens on the 5DMKII?

I already have a buyer for the 10-20, so next month it's bye bye sigma.
In the 5D2 will be a 16-35 II or a Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 3,5/18 ZE.

With two filters you wont see any vignetting a 10mm.

I dont own a Canon, but I love this forum, so I decided to throw some of mine in.

I shoot with a Nikon D90, and just picked up my Sigma this past weekend. Here are some shots I did this morning at work.

Needless to say, this lens gets addicting, and if you dont own one yet, you're missing out big time. Also, I havent had a hard time shooting in low light like some reviewers have mentioned.

What gnd filters and system is everyone using with this lens? I am looking for a system that will allow for stacking of 2 to 3 filters without vignetting at 10mm.

I use the lee holder and lee filters with my sigma. No vignetting caused by the holder to speak of even at 10mm. You can stack up to 3 filters in this holder as well.

There is no way I want to get rid of mine :p at least not until I will be able to upgrade to fullframe then I'll probably sell it and get Sigma 12-24 :D Man! Just imagine 12mm on a FF :O

Oh there is actually one thing I would like to complain about that lens. I wish it has 7 aperture blades instead of 6 so I would be able to some really awesome starbursts -.-

^ CPL's just deepen the colors IMO. They say they get rid of reflections, etc aswell - But I haven't noticed a huge difference, although I don't take alot of "reflected" shots. I think it definitely helps with color though.

I love the Sigma 10-20mm too, here is a quick sample one:

Wow! Talk about going through the archives, I haven't seen those shots since I first posted them here! Haha.

The bottle and faucet shots were taken at my old house in Mooloolah Valley, Queensland, Australia.

It was in an old wood-work shed out back that just stopped being used for a few (Dozen, I think) years. Then I cracked the door one day and went exploring!

Is the vignetting in your images from PP or from your equipment? That vignetting is not from post. Its from the filters and the fact that it was naturally darker sky on the top of the frame (sunrise only in the middle). Also I was using relatively dark filters (3 stop GND and 10 stop)

I can take some test shots of a solid white wall to test if you would like.

I've seen test shots of wide angle cokin P before so thank you for the offer but it wont be necessary. ;) I'm trying to find one that will hold 2 filters but I'm beginning to think that might not be possible due to the 10mm. =/

This is one holder I'm considering: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/158920-REG/Hitech_HT1009_Filter_Holder_for_85mm_Cokin.html

Move up to Cokin Z (100mm filters) or zoom out to probably 12-13mm and you should be able to get a 2 filters.
