I have been in touch with my newspaper who want me to send in photos of people. They want me to do sport photos if they like what i do so i sent in these pics of people. They replyed by telling me to phone them later. What do you think my chances are?

They probably meant they wanted candids of adults, in everyday life, doing things...simulated photojournalist type work. What you showed them are family snapshots.

he asked for some shots of people that i have at the moment. Thats all i have on my laptop of people lol

I probably would have held off sending in pictures and waited until I could get out and get a few news/editorial type shots.

Just spoke to the editor. He wants me to out with there photographer for a day to pick up things and learn how to deal with people when ur taking photos.
