I went hiking today to practice with my G3. I really need it. I really need a tripod too!!! (On the way). Some of the photos I took with the wide angle converter had HORRIBLE purple fringing that I tried to remove in editing. Any comments/critiques would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Debbie,
I took the time to click on the thumbnails - the detail and color showed up so much better on the bigger size. I also checked your other shots - loved the sunset sky!
I am a new G3 owner and am really enjoying getting to know it. Keep up the good work!

The squirrel is cute! Perhaps a closer shot of it might make it stand out more ( or make it run away! ).

Do you mean you get the effect when it is pointing into the sun? or is it vignetting? If vignetting it depends on what lens and adaptor you are using.

Thanks for your comments! And no, it was a different chipmunk each time. They are cute little critters and seem to pose for you as long as you don't get TOO close. I would have liked a closer zoom, but the teleconverter did a nice job.
