Just a couple shots of my daughter. She is such a fun kid.

nice composition but it look like the focal point is on the leaves around her face not her face, the leaves look sharper than her face, on the second image I see the same problems but her face is a bit more sharper, try cropping down to her face and do some sharpening and see how it look, nice colour, you see we tend to focus from the sharpest point to the less sharper point , my eyes went directly to the leaves instead of her , sorry but that IMO.

No, no don't be sorry. I appreciate it.......It just sorta reafirms what I have been thinking about my 20D.....that the focusing is messed up. So back to Canon it goes before the warrenty is up. Thanks for the advise critic though. Thats the only way to get better.

Great shots. I don't know so much about the camera being messed up though. Might aught to try setting the AF point manually instead of letting it select one. I have mine set to the center AF point, since that's where I pay the most attention to due to metering and etc. When set to selective AF, it sometimes chooses the wrong thing to focus on. Not a defect, just needs a user adjustment. Beautiful daughter as well.
