I just got a camera from my great grandma. Its a Alpa 10d. I can't find the batteries for it and I found out that they have been discontinued. Also, some foam from inside the body is rotten and need to be replaced and the inside is covered in foam dust and needs a cleaning.

This camera comes with a couple of lenses that are in great condition. Would it be worth getting this camera up to snuff? from what I have seen on the net it appears to be a pretty good old camera. What do you guys think?

Any ideas of a place that could clean this camera out for me and check to see if it is in proper working order?

Thanks,

Ryan

I vaugely remember from my youth that Alpa 10d was way outta my affordability league! As a collector camera, it is probably worth a good amount, but look into that. One issue will be finding someone who can repair them, and whether or not spare parts are at all available to restore it!
