G2 and USB TWAIN Driver problems

The instructions in the G2 Software Starter Guide seem to be contradictory, my PC (Pentium III) has completed installation, but after connection camera to PC, the instructions ask me to install the driver again, why? then, when I try to transfer images from camera to PC, it refuses to close the "Insert Disk" window. Does anyone have a solution?

I am thrilled with my G2. The USB driver is finally working. The only complaint I have is that the instruction manual is quite confusing. I have Windows 98, and the instructions jump from one version of Windows to another, and then sends us to one page and then another and back again .... the manual needs to be a little easier to follow. I have been working with Adobe Photoshop since 1987, and for the past two years I had to drive 40 miles away to have my photos put on a CD. Now I can do all of the processing with the G2.
I am thrilled with the camera, I enjoy having a choice of different resolutions, and I can't wait to try out all of its features.
