Hello all.
Here are two images that I shot... I'm not really sure what I'm doing incorrectly here, but it never seems that I am able to capture the subject with any great detail. Both images were shot with a 28-135 IS USM... both at 135mm, ISO 200, 1/60, f/5.6, handheld w/ IS on. I allowed the camera to do the focusing, perhaps this is my problem? It's hard to get a good manual focus as they move around too quickly... is it that I need a true macro lens to capture subjects such as this correctly?
Both images were sharpened slightly in Elements.
Any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
