Got a the new lens last night and tested it out today. However the weather sucked and was overcast so i had to do some post-capture editing which i'm horrible at. Anyway, here they are...finally...

You've got some very decent images there with a little more post processing. Brighten the shadows using Levels and Saturate the colors along with a little USM.
