I was wondering if anyone has purchased the cheap generic batteries from ebay. Any comments?

Yes,

I bought the eforcecity battery about 6 months ago & its performance is indistinguishable from the original Canon at a fraction of the cost. They also don't rip you off you on shipping.

Likewise,. Eforce city is a great company to deal with. The Physical uild quality f the batteries is not as good,. the housing seems flimsy,. but the batteries perform. For $9.00 you can't go wrong.
