Early on I rejected the browser/downloader software that came with my PS110, it just seemed to clutzy and "do everything for you" for someone who was more comfortable with windows explorer, irfanview, and Paint Shop Pro. (Not quite a 'power user', but you know what I mean)
I used the freeware Breeze Downloader for a long time, and liked it quite a bit.
Now that I have a PS200...I dunno. I liked Breeze but $26 seems a little bit steep (I guess my price point is around $20). I'd be content just using XP's automatic downloading options, except that it drops the damn numbering that the camera has...and that's important to me, because sometimes I want to check to make sure I'm not deleting my only copy of an image, and if it has a unique ID, that's about 5 times easier.
Are there any other options? I don't want to seem like a total cheapskate, but something that downloads, losslessly rotates, and retains the number is really all I need...any suggestions or should I just suck it up and shell out?
