Here are a couple of texture stylee pieces taken today and featured for the enjoyment of BB ...

St Pauls Square can be lovely in Summer but in Winter it's not at it's best - very cold and damp. Lots of little details to find but too cold today and I was ready for home. I like the Bokah on the 'Square' shot and the whole mix of textures on the corner wall of the Church.

Very nice Dave :) That 50mm seems like a good performer. I'm thinking of getting that Kadapter soon. Thanks for sharing :)

You girls should have been interior decorators....lottsa nice fabrics and textures then to play with.

Does that classic Pentax give a green (winebottle-like) tint ?
Dave, why not get a Thrifty Fifty....only a few bucks more, but much better IQ.;)

I've had two ... very good lens but it can be aggressively sharp. Sharp is overrated (I wonder do some ever look at the real world?) It is also AF so I suspect my keeper ratio would reduce ;) I trust the build quality of my spectaculated eyes more than any feeble AF motor. Even USM ... designed to enable easy MF when the AF motor can't cope   ... is a heartbreaker; enough to make even those hardened serial daters Saravrose and Claire (AKA Nouna) weep.
