Remove Default Show Signature

Is it possible to have the default settings NOT display my signature?

The only thing I could find in the CP was how to turn off ALL signatures.

Delete your signature from your User CP is about it. If you don't have one, it can't show one. The "Turn off" is so you can choose not to see anyone else's, which may be long. Likewise with avatars.

if you dont want to show your sig goto user cp..edit signature..then delete youre sig in the edit box and click save..then it wont show...
or if replying to messages tick the show your sig box to take the tick out

I have these "Additional Options" listed at the bottom of every post I make. (In fact, the screen-shot is from THIS post right now.) By clicking the green arrow off and on, I can select to have my Sig displayed or not on a post by post basis. That way is does not have to always be off.

If you do not show the same options as I do, perhaps in the CP there is a list of options to be displayed in the "Additional Options" box.

I know of all these options and use them. The point I was trying to make was, can you have your signature SAVED, but not displayed by default.

I think the answer is no.
