First wedding booking, possible problem!!

Can anyone give me a little advice here.

Bride: Very attractive African girl with very dark skin tone.
Groom: Pasty white English!

Luckily she is going to wear something colourful and traditional and not the usual white dress.

My concern is with such a difference in skin tone is it going to cause me headaches? Any advice greatfully accepted!

I don't think you will have any problem. She's not wearing the white dress so there won't be that huge blob of white to throw your metering off. Meter for her face and go from there.

Make sure you use exposure compensation/flash EC. You ***have to practice before the wedding*** with people of similar skin colors and in similar clothing. Your biggest problem will probably be in sunlight, apart from that you should be ok :)
