Am I crazy?
I just ordered canon:
70-200 F2.8L (non IS)
50mm 1.4
1.4X
My thought is that these seem to be very good lenses and I am not sure if I should get the EOS-10D or wait for the "new" camera.
Best Regards,
Dale
P.S. Sort of like a guy I knew that had over 200 CD's, but had no CD player?

Well if you ant to wait, then next model its most certanly more than 8 months away or so.
Maybe Canon will release a new 1D this autumn(1Dn ???) But that will be 2x 10D price.

I think it's a good idea. If it was me I would go out and buy a 35mm Canon EOS to use with the lenses now. Then when the digital arrives, you can have it in your bag as another tool. I have a lowly Rebel 2000 to go with my 10D. It takes great pictures with my L series lenses.

The 10D is great. With your lens choices, you will be happy to "upgrade" your 10D body in 2 years and keep the L's.
On thing I noticed, though: with the F2.8, why not go for the 2x teleconverter? You will still get full autofocus.
