I already have a Crumpler Shrinkle, and am very pleased with it too (:)), but am now looking for a walk-around bag.
Staying with Crumpler, I want it to be as small and compact as possible, but to house my 5D and 17-40 as well as my 35L and 135L. I may carry an extra battery and memory card, but nothing else - I really do want a bag that is as small as possible.
I've had a good look around the indispensable www.cambags.com but am still undecided.
I was hoping some of you here could recommend a good bag, and, if possible, provide some photo's?

i went with the long schlong. holds my 20d with sigma 24-70 ex attached (hood reversed), my 10-20 and my 70-300 in the section underneath. plus hard disk, cards, flash, manual, rocket blower...
in retrospect i wish i had gone for the geekstar as its slightly larger inside but not much bigger overall.

I have a 35 1.4 a 50 1.4, 85 1.8 and 135. I know you want small as poos, but you should really buy bigger then you need, i've learnt that the hard way
I have a Geekstar, and i've put a small review up on my space http://www.pbase.com/sean_mcr/crumpler_geekstar

Another vote for the Long Schlong. Excellent bag that doesn't look like a camera bag, yet protects your gear well.

I have the 6 Million Dollar Home and it looks a bit smaller than the Schlong and Geekstar. (yes, your Schlongs are bigger.) It has a single, large compartment with dividers as well as an internal mesh pocket in the lid and another external pocket in the front. I actually think I might like the models with "darkroom" storage, especially if I ever need to carry something like a 70-200 or 100-400 vertically.
It easily holds a 5D w/grip, 24-105L, 85L, 100 macro, 430EX, batteries, filters and cleaning stuff. I could probably fit another 100mm-size lens and a 50mm quite easily. It is much smaller that I thought it would be and seems just about right for a walk-around bag with your kit.

I have a 7million dollar home.. It holds 5D with grip, 24-70L,135L, 580ex, batteries, filters, and other stuff. It has tons of room to spare and its light and comfortable.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the replies guys :)
I really do want the bag to be as small as possible though. Already having the Shrinkle means that if I need to take out more kit I have the option to do so.
I already own a LowePro Nova 2 AW :
http://www.lowepro.com/images/products/large/Nova2AW_gray_left_equip.jpg
Its dimensions are: (Interior) 8.5W x 4.25D x 7.75H in. / 21.5 x 11 x 19.5 cm
I really like Sean's Geekstar, but think its size (Lower part: 34CM X 8CM X15CM Upper part: 34CM X 15CM X 15CM) may also be too big.
Thanks again :)

I also have the Nova 2 and the 6 Million is just a bit bigger at 12x9x7 interior. I hardly use the Nova unless I'm just taking the 5D (w/o grip), an attached lens and a flash. Hope this helps and good luck with your search!

Sean, how big would you say is the 7 Million Dollar Home in relation to the Long Schlong or Geekstar?

I can't seem to find a vendor that sells the crumpler geekstar in the US. Any one have a link to a website that sells them in the states?
