Hi,

Here are a few shots from the Pride Parade that was held in Central London on July 26th. All taken with the Canon 10D and 70-200mm f/4 L Lens at ISO 100.

I'd welcome any constructive critcism :-)

As a shy heterosexual, let me say that I love the first shot -- from the waist up!

In a perfect world I suspect ( I am not pro) that the rightmost runner would be better if present in full shoulder width. Or, I might try a crop of the back left runner to balance the runner on the right. That's what I would try anyway.

I think that the blues, reds, glasses, and energy of the entire scene are great. Where else would you get saturated color like this ?

Mark Goldstein,

I love all of the shots, they are very clear and vibrant. The colors and tones are right on. Being a heterosexual the shots are not offending either.

No matter your preference, these shots are great. Keep up the good work.

Good reportage! The colors are terrific. I agree with Howie about the unfortunate shoulder crop. I like the second shot best.

I like the second shot because of the slightly blurry background.

Thanks for the very helpful feedback everyone!

I agree that my composition and cropping was a little out on some of these shots - I think I was concentrating too much on capturing the right moment.

Thanks again.
