Just a bit curious. Other than the camera bodies, lenses, flashes, tripods, and memory cards. What equipment do you take with you.

A Leatherman Micra...my most used piece of equipment next to my cameras. That thing has cut more straps off of bridesmaids' dresses than Colin Farrell!
And Duck Tape - the thin kind.
(...and honey, in case you're watching, you know I mean the straps that hang the strapless dresses on a hanger that the BM's hate to tuck in. I'd never cut a dress off another...well now I sound like more of a perv than when I started...)

Food, drink, studio lights, monopod, polarizing filters (rarely use them), map, contract, their day plan, and probably other stuff that doesn't come to mind too.

Speaking of thongs, I was shooting some details at the brides house at a wedding last year, and I asked her where her jewelry, etc was. She pointed to the top of the bureau and also pointed out a rather racy set of panties saying "Those are my special wedding day panties. You can get a shot of those if you'd like..." What a job!

Penlight (now keychain LED light), gaffer tape, spare PC connector cord, extension cord,
radio remote trigger/receiver units, FRS walkie-talkie (if I have an assistant), luggage cart, microfiber cloth
and in the trunk ('boot' for you Aussies and Brits), all the duplicate items in the photo equipment inventory, in case of failure

Almost forgot...SAFETY PINS. You wouldn't believe the number of times I could come to the rescue of a bride or bridesmaid who had torn something or popped a button!

I normally carry a bottle of champagne.
It helps when there is no alcohol around and the bride and groom are having trouble relaxing. :)

hahahaha well thongs in Australia mean "Flip Flops" or "Double Pluggers" which basically means comfortable footwear...trust me i wouldn't be wearing a g-string when photographing a wedding, especially since sometiems you can get in places that are awkward hahahahaha NO THANK YOU!

Hey Del,
When I was growing up we called those foam slippers thongs too. But back then, it was that rubber peice that went between the toes that was the pain. :)
Just happen to like Today's version better. ;)

Oh yeah! I actually have a whole little sewing kit in my camera bag with plenty of safety pins.
Add a small folding mirror so the bride can check her makeup after the ceremony (when shooting formals) to the list.

White hairpins for the bride's veil or headpiece. Amazing how those things don't like to stay on. If the hairpins don't hold, white duct tape works well. Failing the tape, color-coordinated roofing staples are also effective.
