What did you do?! It looks like a gaussian blur was applied after a halo/ghosting effect of some kind. I don't like the effect at all! The picture is good but the post processing not so much!

I tend to think that less is more when it comes to photoshop filters...

What I miss is a focus point, somewhere to draw me into the image. There's so many things going on that you might have to emphasize on something to keep the viewer interested. The ehterical glow works fine, but maybe not on this image, which is a bit busy, or at least tone it down or just use it on parts of the image.

everything i was going to suggest has already been said lol

im sure it was a nice image without the filters, and maybe try the filter again with anothe rphoto? maybe not SO MUCH though...

Well Bob, it may not be the best choice for a wedding album but it actually would work quite well as a photo illustration for a short story, magazine article, or even an advertisement.

One genre's questionable choice may be another topic's visual solution.
