While I wait to hear from some Internet stores, what would be a good price to pay to trade in my 9+ D60 body for a new 10D?
Playing with the idea and am curious what others have found.
Thanks.

Sorry - using item condition code that some camera
stores use.
9+ means "shows little or no sign of wear"
One step down from 10 - "appears as new"

Put it on EBAY. I have found that everything will find it's true value... Granted you don't do a horrible job marketing the item... good description, good images, and not trying to deceive any would be bidders.
Just do a search of completed D60 auctions. That will tell you what the going rate is. You will get next to nothing if you trade it in. The shop would probably give you only half of what they would try to resell it for. Hell, they'll probably put it on EBAY.

I'm seeing D-30s which are obviously older sell at around $800.00-$850.00
So at least a grand for a D60?

Mathew.....I sold my D60 for $1185 on Ebay about 6 weeks ago and I sold my D30 for $850 about a month ago on Ebay. This is still about the going rate. Its nice and easy to trade something in but you will lose a couple of hundred by trading it in. They are both still very marketable but as the price of the 10D seems to keep dropping, the D60 and D30 will follow suit so hurry up and sell. Good luck Brian
