Here are some more Bikes on ice.... This is on a 3/8 mile Oval track built on a lake..

Doug and Kris .... Don't let the hiking boots and the stripper sticker fool you. He is the king of the track

Thanks for sharing. At first glance, I though the first and the second photo were the same, but you photoshopped the guy in the background out of the second... :)

The bike and rider are in a very similar pose but it's coincidence rather than photoshopping, there are some glaring differences, most notably the angle of the front wheel and the shadows beneath the bike. Also in the second picture both wheels are actually airborne:)

All outstanding, I remember you mentioning the both wheels in the air shot. Nice to have the EXIF data too.

Oh, I don't doubt the fact that they are separate photos! My brain just said 'wow, those look a lot alike' when I first opened the thread. :D

Thanks Ron, Chris.... Great fun trying to capture the moment with these guys...

The EXIF tells all the secrets Ron (ALMOST).. LOL If you use the Canon software to read the EXIF data it should also tell you all my C.Fn. settings as well.....

Last time I saw "what they called" iceracing on TV was 2003. It was in Finland I believe and it looked like they were racing down slushy streets rather then on a lake. They also ran small buggys kinda like the dune buggies at Glamis, on the same track...

Thanks for viewing and comments...
